Great idea / workaround. Love the idea of using a tried and true 70+ year old solution to a problem that has been a PITA for me for the last 50 years.. Duh! Sheesh why didn't I ever connect the dots.. I even owned an old wurly with that type of sustain pedal...I used think man that's a big clunky sustain pedal never realizing it stayed put when using.it. So I just used a piece of LVT flooring cut it down to the width of my pedal and the length of the pedal with my foot on it from end of pedal to an inch longer than where my heel rest. to strips of 3/4 wide 3m double stick heavy duty tape under the pedal...Golden that pedal isn't going anywhere anymore. THANK YOU!

In reply to <a href="https://www.keyboardwaves.com/prevent-the-sustain-pedal-from-slipping/#comment-44469">Matthew Milford</a>.

I’ve found that taking off my shoes (with or without socks) keeps my sustain peddle from slipping at all.
putting a circled piece of gaffing tape on the bottom of the peddle helps as well.
Having said that, that’ll get you by. But I want one of these peddles. All sustain peddles should be built like this one.
